Ramesh, Your poem reminds me of my bygone days in my native place in Sind (now Pakistan) .That river was so full after the rainy season that we just had the time of our lives, ejoying bathing, eating mangoes and going for a picnic; your poem is similar. I liked the words { like a damsel of paradise) . Oh! whenneth commeth those days?
a lot of thoughts about life as it really is. good write
the river of life, flowing, then ebbing! great write, poet.

Great imagery, blended with nature's beauty. Soul touching poem, your poetic heart lends a drop of tears on my bygone years as well. Really enjoyed this one. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
