A Drop Poem by soren Barrett

A Drop

Rating: 5.0

Drop of water held together so cohesively
bonds of strength shattered by a fall
Droplets now cling adhesively
infinitesimally small

They slide down slopes joining together
forming new drops on their way
Drawn as if by a tether
group unity on display

Forming rivulets they grow as streams
joining others becoming a river
filling a lake now that teems
to ocean, original giver
