Rainbows are nice, but I've never found a 'pot of gold' at 'the end of a rainbow', nor have I even found an 'end' exactly. Showers, too, can be nice; I took a shower about a month ago, even though unneeded. ;)
It is a revelation to me that it is sufficient to have showers once a month or at longer intervals. I take twice a day. Maybe I am mentally ill or possessed..
I was going to ask if 'shiny deity' refers to the sun reappearing after the shower, BUT then I noticed 'rainbow' given as a poem topic [[ though it is not openly mentioned in the poem ]]. So is the 'shining deity' a rainbow?
I meant ‘sun', but don't mind if you read rainbow
** MARCH TO A DIFFERENT DRUMMER: 'march to a different drummer phrase of march INFORMAL consciously adopt a different approach or attitude to the majority of people.'
Some (members here, and wives I've had, and friends, and coworkers) have probably said of me, Brian Edward Whitaker, : 'Bri 'marches to a different drummer**'.' And so I may. ;) bri
Well, you've mentioned TWO kinds of drums: eardrums and two-sided drums; note my ' - ' in two-sided. .....Personally I like (turkey) drumsticks (not wooden ones) .
'Dares the eardrums'? ? Are you SURE it (their sound) doesn't TEAR (sounds like care or bear, not fear or beer) the eardrums? ? ?
A drizzle is all you get from the enormous summer clouds…
A little out of my element but I always enjoy a thunderstorm, even the ones without rain!
Hi Rob, May be, this vanishing summer showers is a phenomenon unique to my place, that is, Kerala, India. Thank you for your time, and patience of course
I had posted replies to Rebecca Navarre and Dr Nehal. But both the notes have vanished.would ph help please?
It sounds very beautiful! .. And filled with much awe! .. Very beautifully and powerfully expressed! .. Definite 5 Stars! ..++++++++
Though the summer clouds may not usher in heavy showers, they are the front runner for the monsoon clouds that bless us with heavy rains, sans reins
Thank You, LeeAnn. Feels great to read your sweet words. Obliged, dear poet
The summer showers are thus! They vanish into thin air, literally, after the dark clouds gather in the skies threatening to wash away the entire world.
The poet creates the exact image he wants to in the reader mind. The scenery is vividly described.
Feels great that you could relate to the poem so well
Thanks for Poet's Notes. I give **** for poem and Notes.
Thank you Bri, for all those stars.
