I agree with Akhtar hi that the poetess is fully aware of the chid's psychology.

The title lured me in on this one because I was 'A Dreaming Child', I even painted the green leaves on my neighbours green hedge yellow when about 5 to 7 years of age. 'as a golden star blazes a trail across the starry sky a light breeze is blowing on a warm summer’s night so many stars are twinkling in a midnight blue sky and the brightest moon ever is sailing so very high so many fireflies are twinkling in the woods nearby alone a watchful owl cries who who on this night listen closely to hear this owl take off in flight! ' loved this, sounds like me, later I will probably write about whistling in fruit bats in the tropics to my balcony, in the dark night hours taking a break from writing :)

I love this poem. The child's dreams are very close to my own: 'the same language is spoken by everyone and we see animals have not been caged by anyone.....' I've added it to my favourites to read again in the future.

Tagore said, every new born child comes in this world with a message that God is not yet dejected with the humans. Language of love is universal. A child is completely innocent, so are his dreams. This poem shows the poetess is fully aware of human psychology. As far as the poem is concerned, it is all known that Rachel is fully capable of beautifying a child in a colorful dress of words.
