I like the brave way he walked the line. He makes certain everyone understands that he is merely reporting what he said and thought and did in a dream and certainly no one would be charged with treason for what happened in a dream.

Yes the dialect of this wonderful poem baffles and confuses me occasionally. I wish for training in the Scotish Gaelic style of middle English. However the melody and songlike beauty of the language fascinates me and sends me into a daydream! A beautiful piece of literature. Paul Amrod
