I see you settle gently on my toes,
and fascination freezes me.
While I stifle a twitch at the tickle,
you lightly dip your curly tongue
to taste the moisture
captured on my skin.
Glittering, gossamer guest
I marvel at your beauty,
What do you see there on your perch?
Do digits hold small streams
to slake your thirst?
Does your fractured vision
even perceive a being,
barely breathing, stretching time
to relish the wonder of your call.

Nature is so wonderful, unfortunately a lot of people never see her. An excellent write. Tango
