A scholarly poem..very much impressed...thank God! I don't know Gujarati....the way you have translated it itself is highly applaudable..why to waste time in comparing the two...thanks a lot for sharing this great work here..
I can understand what you say, yet, few translation can beat the original. You have to be true to the original poet's expression without deviating too much. However the translation has to be a poem, not a drab prose. This is the challenge. I have translated thousands of Sanskrit verses, and feel emboldened to attempt. But it is a hard drill. Thank you for your comments.
