That our eyes are sore and red;
When joy is missing,
We gaze down too long at our feet

Our eyes are sore and red and missing joy is so sad. So, long the rain gazes upon mind. As we slowly walk through the city the different sky offers the support. Beneath the sky love welcomes us. Inviting flowers to bloom weather sings. This is an excellent poem well penned with rich imagery....10

this poem tempts the reader to strip away all insecurities and fully submerge their body into the words just to understand their beautiful meanings. i feel as if i could read it again and again without ever losing that awestruck feeling which captured my heart the first time my eyes grazed the page.

A masterpiece with a little Wizard of Oz magic at the end, in how your words color the picture for your readers.... Beautiful, thank you! ~Lee

A different sky is calling to a tree as beautied as your beauty doth be... Skies filled with hues of blue for one as kind as yee. Rain soaked downpour feeds to nature's own... Naught Sun drenched but alas yee be soaked right to thy bone. Floral flowers of orchids and violets steeped real deeply with steaming stewed... Pete Moss sprouts as real real early as of the morrow that i feude. Magnificent magnifycation of Hell bound hounds... Release to all their Hellish sounds. Chatter of teeth and movement of feet doth disturb all of dreamly serene... Escape naught fro' Hounds from Hell. Bequeeth to all a fleeing visional obscene... Darkest darkened form not seen. Death knocks on all others door.... Not the well to do but just the vagrant and poor. It takes a great poet to inspire others, as obviously you've done to me. I had to give out a ten for this great done poem. God bless all poets-MJG.

A truly beautiful dedication to a very talented poet and friend. Isn't it amazing how a change of scenery can also change the way you look at things? Some people just bring out the best in everyone they meet. Lovely read, Uriah. Linda

Ah yes, a dismal day in a life lonely and dismal brightened only by a much needed and wanted arrival of a loving companion to enrich and compliment the empty space of the life and heart. I was very much the same way until my one perfect mate and wife came to my life. Bravo-you have painted a perfect picture of a blank colorless life just only painted anew with an added depth, and brilliant color, touched with a needed addition of a perfect perspective to an unevened crooked collage of nothingness! Thanks for bringing this point to realization. God bless and best regards-Mike Gale.
