Few words can absolutely, and brilliantly speak volumes. Glad I stumbled in......I invite you to parade around my poems as well. PEACE and plenty to you
This really made me smile.....Lovely poignant piece which made me want to nip out with a spray can :)
I am delighted to visit and read your poetry again...a charming piece indeed. Dorothy A Poet Who Loves To Sing I am back posting here again...some new poems although not showing in red for some reason.
That was brilliantly said Chuck...you have a way of economising on words but packing a great punch all the same....
I love a good play on words and this as good a play as it gets.
This is really clever, and made me notice yet again: that the sum of the total comments is inversely related to the root, squared, of the shortness of the piece..(smile) Hope that came out right as I am slightly dyslexic, lol.
Truth and love, a dangerous combination, try them if you dare...... ; -)))) I have watched artists paint and often wondered how cleverly they mix the colours to the exact hue they desire and now having read your poem it makes me wonder how you managed to mix these words so cleverly too. So few words yet so excellent a poem. Ruthy: -)
These words were written by Charles Audet, I like his poems though we've never met. I think this is a clever way. Of being creative, what do you say? Very nice to find and to read. Well done. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
Great poem! Ya probably seen my name over there at that sight, no doubt? God bless all the poets-MJG.
Clever Chuck....I love dry humour and this is a gem...top 10..*dc*
Truth really is love - - - - and thereby hangs the tale! ! ! A great read - - and thank you Chuck........ bestest from Fay.....
WOW Mr.C....what a quiet genius you is young man! ! ! ! ! One more 10 to yer hundreds! ! .....*dc*
This is a very cleverly written poem, Chuck, and clearly displays a fine sense of humor. It is reminescent of the style of William Carlos Williams, and one of his ardent disciples, art miller of Newfoundland, who was also on the old poets.com, whom you may recall. Like yours in this poem, his style is terse and to the point, and not lacking a touch of humor either. It was a pleasure to read this superb poem. Carl.
WELL, the water pump AND a tire went on the car this time, so there goes PIM once again....begins to look as if I will never return...and I miss the word playing! Which, by the way, this is one of your best! ! Scarlett
Wise words indeed my friend, great verse. Best wishes, Andrew
I like your lines and reminescence about the time I was there at poetry.com, putting to work the pieces of tiles together. It was fun indeed! ! arya
Well done. I for one think that a lot of graffiti is worth reading and beautiful to behold. We all have our creative ways and moments. Even our accidents can become works of art.
A witty and insightful creation. Thanks for sharing.
