This feels like a picture of old, maybe during a victorian frolic by the sea AWESOME! , just a little thought here David, how about a poem about victorian life, sort of - a day in the life of a chimney sweep, something like that, I know you could pull it off Ah, eitherway I love this one Love duncan X
A realistic snapshot and does reflect the laid-back atmosphere and view of the spectator on just any day by the sea. Using another approach I am sure you could have painted a beautiful scene full of life and sensory images. So your presentation does a double take and really invokes two scenes for me.
A very relaxing piece of yours, just by reading it, we can imagine the scenery. Thanks for the very relaxing words that sooth my mind and nerves..I love the sea, it's my life.. i swim and dive a lot..Your poem is worth a hundredfold for me..
the loneliest poet in the world walking by a shore that never disappears
So beautiful, serene, a tranquil feeling fills me this morning while being blessed by your precious words. A wonderful way to start my day David.--Melvina--
When I drove past the Northumberland shoreline this morning the sea was rough and the sky was miserable and dark, so a poem like this one takes me right away from all that and puts me in a sunny frame of mind. I can almost feel the sun on my back........ Nice write, David. Love, Fran xxx

I get the feeling of an observer utterly entranced by what he sees... as the reader surely is by this piece. A fine read D. tx
I love the beach.....we have dirty brown sand here on the shores of Lake Erie...but your picture reminds me of visiting my brother in Naples Florida......the sand is so white there and all the different ages...joining in and sharing one long mile of beach......thanks for taking me back: O)

As one who lives in a small seaside town, I know exactly what your poem conveys, it is busy here now but in the winter it becomes a ghost town lol, another poem from you maybe? Excellent as usual love Lynda x
