A Day In The Field Poem by Erick Sunaryo

A Day In The Field

Night time come
Darkness follow
Everthing goes silent
Wind blows colder
While man standing tired
After a long day
Watching his own work
And breath heavily
Still work to be done
For none he can do now
He sit lit a fire
To warm his body
While gathering energy
Home soon he said silently
He stand and put off the fire
Till no more light
Then he walk home
Thinking about tomorrow
A day more in the field
