I enjoyed reading about your day's activities. I DON'T envy you. But this must have been years ago. Now you get more rest? ? bri : )
A great poem. Deeply decorated surrounding conditions. I love such poems. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Chan Mongol for stopping by to read my poem and your kind appreciation.
A very sensitive poem of some stark realities of life. Hardest to deal with is a torn sense of allegiance for a woman working out side home. This is the best that I have read in poetry form of the struggle that working women face everyday. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much Poetic Lotus, Madam, Poetess Savita Tyagi for your lovely comment on my poem.
Thank you Anil Kumar Panda for kindly reading my poem and your valuable opinion.
Sad reality of a working woman. very difficult to manage house and office. But she does and with a smile. Very nice poem indeed. Loved it.10++++++
This is how I felt while I was working! Fortunately after retirement, I am less ruled by the hands of the clock! Each working woman has a tough time balancing her domestic chores and office work! Her predicament is well brought out here!
Thank you Madam for your kind review of the poem relating your own experience as a working woman.
At present really women with service and homework are facing many troubles though they have maids to accompany them. From the beginning of the day the negative news from news papers disturb the peaceful mind. As there are no child care centers to keep children, it makes the mothers hard some. Relating to this theme this poem has been composed astutely ans incisively. A beautiful poem.10
Thank you so much poet Sri Kumaramani Mahakul fr your kind appreciation of this poem.
A day has gone by Deducting one day From my life I ponder What I achieve And what I give. Beautiful lines.
TWO: A fascinating poem is worded dashingly, which I have enjoyed a very lot. I do hope there is solution for this cardinal problem. Thank you so much for sharing this major problem on social level. A 10++++++++++ for the voting
Thank you Sylvia Frances Chan for your kind words.A woman and mother can easily understand a working woman's woes in this situation.
ONE: Indeed this is a situation of many problems, the main problem is the child care centres. I cannot imagine that there are no child care centres. Babysitters and a nanny is far too expensive. to put our babykids at grandmother's home constantly is no option. I regard myself as lucky, since our country has all care-sections for working mothers.
A day has gone by/Deducting one day/From my life/I ponder/What I achieve/And what I give. Your poem minutely addresses your busy schedule. I can imagine the way you munch some pieces of biscuits. Whatever may be the fact, you have not ignored your passion for poetry. This beautiful poem is the example! Very well penned….10
Yes Bharathi its not easy to be a working lady. Its the passion that drags you yo work place and compassion thst pulls you to serve st home. But in this passion compassion journey we loose our own self. Worthy write.
