(cont.) This truly is a gem (a rare, precious one) of a poem. I voted before (PH tells me) and it MUST have been *****. To my favorites today.

Bharari, I'm glad I found this poem again this month (I was here in May also, though I don't recall the poem well at all) . (cont.)

I've left comments before today, including the year this was submitted. Here: 'I will ask the clouds To lend its black' I'd use 'clouds..their' or 'cloud...its', not 'clouds..its'. : )

Strange it is that several people have said comments recently take a long time to show up on a poem's page, but mine from 5 min. ago already is showing below!

some favorite lines: 'colors from butterfly wings to adorn my face and beautify my being.' Hey! I'd do the same (maybe not) . bri : )

Nayak, I love this poem. I wish you stopped on 'But leave only a day for me'. Thanks for the elaboration though.

Bharati, if I had only ONE day for myself, I'd NOT want it to be my last! ! I'd have it a lot earlier in my life so I could look back on it anytime I wanted to, for fond memories (I hope) . bri ;)

Yes, I've commented before now. I'm short on time now. I.E. I've got other things to do shortly; doesn't everyone? I still like this, still would give some suggestions, and STILL want at least TWO days to 'myself' (each week) . ;) bri

It's 'too bad'/unfortunate that I can not read this in Odia. Of course few people can speak more that 6 or 7 languages; I speak 47 languages.

I came for re-re today. After reading this evaluation of Late Daniel Brick, I feel so sad that he is no more with us to enrich our site and favour each of us with his smiling words
