Oh how I love the presence of the Lord. I feel Him all the time, and am privileged for the chance to interact with Him. This warms my heart. 10

A beautifully titled poem. One's heart, the inside is the best place to have a date with God.
Yes, Marilyn, it is true..All we have to do is to ask for His presence..And i really love to be in His presence..He is awesome..I love this write, and i am glad i was able to read this wonderful write of yours.. your words flow gently and lovingly..it shows who you are..sincere, kind and a loving person..I love you and God bless you.. Love, Meggie
i like this poem too. People really need to realise this, i know some people who only know God on Sunday mornings. I don't like church munch because i always fall asleep, but God and I have dates all through the week. the difference between church goers and I, is that i know God all week long while they know him only on Sundays. This is a veyr important poem that i think a lot of people need to read. i thank you for writing it and sharing it as well, maybe just maybe it might get through to some people
Well done, Marilyn. If only the world's religious leaders had the asense to realise that what you've written is how all religions should be practised. The tub-thumping twerps like that clot who's raving about Heath Ledger and the Muslim fanatic idiot fringe have turned the entire concept into a blood-drenched circus, and the other 'main-stream' cults are only a very short step behind them. You should send George W. Bush a copy of it. Cheers, Fatt Bob.
Love the title, love the poem. You are a avery talented poet. Rosemary
No cathedral can compete with the splendor of nature…this is truly where God resides.
A date with God? lol Last time I went to church was about ten years ago, with my grandmother... Just a random comment, : P
Such a lovely spiritual piece
