A Dark Shadow
In the dark night,
I lay on the cosy bed of my room,
Someone knocked the door,
I was extremely delighted,
As I thought he had surely come,
Soon I opened the door,
But there was none,
Only a dark shadow receded farther and farther.
A thought provoking write. Life has many mysteries that the mind could not fathom. An interesting poem as usual.

Such an experience could be a little annoying and could disrupt our sleep. The poem creates some sort of suspense!
