Very thought provoking write. So much is pulled in here. A sad ness for current life and a longing to go back to old ways. Loved the write.

what a perfect piece of art. in few words our today's world is defined.... really, who will save this world, who will stay in front of that black moon? nice one.

In the darkness we can go back and reflect on our mistakes and be determined to change for the good of mankind. Beautiful write!

I agree. Nothing can be done (by man) to save the world. Perhaps, we need to re-read events, hence a moving backward to be able to inch forward. Thanks for sharing your poem.

Wisdom is born out of the past, and it is wisdom perhaps that will save the world. Excellent Dave.

Looking back may indeed help us find a better tomorrow, wisdom does often come from mistakes made...and remembered.

Yes, it has been an anomaly of the Industrial Age, which is eradicating the world at an astonishing rate! If we go backwards, and change the future that can be done with lessening our carbon signature almost completely (it won't happen,) the end of the world is imminent and threatening very shortly.
