This poem is beautiful. Somehow it gave me the sense and feel of hope........like the hope of a bright sunny tomorrow after a dark yesterday and/or the hope of new life after a super cyclone

Actually, the feeling of night creates a moody atmosphere to almost all of us but it has its brighter sides as well. A country side by night- for those who had grown in those umpteen hamlets - would be a refreshing experience. The moonlit night, the twinking night, the silence of the still surroundings, the singular bark of a dog, the rains at night, the frogs playing the BGM for the rains, hurricane lanterns moving at the distant paddy fields, poor farmers sleeping within torn rugs in their huts, left to howling winds, children cuddling within their beds. The atmosphere is just beyond all feelings.
