A Dance In The Castle Halls: Dreaming For A Turning Tide Poem by Isadora Quagmire

A Dance In The Castle Halls: Dreaming For A Turning Tide

Rating: 5.0

In the castle hall of Aundler's grand old towers,
Beneath the ancient tapestries of blooming flowers,
Boys and girls with hearts so pure and bright,
Danced in the golden candlelight.
Their steps were smooth, full of courtly grace,
Each movement a poem, each glance a warm embrace.
With respectful bows and curtsies, they moved in rhyme,
To ancient melodies, songs of the vaults of time.
Their laughter filled the night with a gentle cheer,
Echoing hopes and dreams held dear.
For in each heart, a secret wish did lie,
Of Arjeon College, beneath the starry skies.
They danced with dreams of what might one day be,
In halls of learning, where minds roam free.
With every twirl, they whispered to the night,
Of futures bright, of knowledge's light.
In Aundler's castle hall, beneath the ancient tapestries,
They danced as men and women, with such ease.
Courtly and respectful, their spirits high,
They held the promise of tomorrow, reaching for the sky.
So, in that snowy, still night, so soft and fair,
Beneath the watchful stars' tender glare,
Boys and girls with hearts full of hope and pride,
Danced away, dreaming of a turning tide.
Dreaming of what could be that ounce had died,
Not forgetting the sorrows of the dreamers who had cried.
