Ralph Waldo Emerson always stressed that given the chance to read or to get outside and live, you must choose the latter. A book then and the gadgets of the cyber-junky now. Living a virtual life could not possibly be more dull and safe. Your poem made me smile. Thanking God I am old enough to have experienced life unplugged. Wonderful writing!

Indeed a wonderful poem. It is all a vain seeking and searching and not finding anything.

This cyber world is indeed so very delusive; you know and yet you don't know or you can say you don't know and yet you claim to know. Valsa's comment is quite apt.

Virtual world has a magic sway How sad many end up as its prey From the real world you'll be far away So, from its strangling hold, better keep away! The poem is the vivid and beautiful description of an undisputed truth! !
