A close observation poem pertaining to birds and nesting and it felt nice.
Yet I dream of cages untold - the crow is the most intelligent, so much around us.. but the most scorned and avoided cause its not 'cute or beautiful looking..i'd share something from my life here.. my nephew grew up in my home, and my mom used to feed him his meals mostly in the backyard, and there used to be crows that used to come looking for food.. my mom threw a few morsels to them, and they started visiting everyday... they came close, slowly, ate from my mom's hands.. and my nehpew as he learned to walk.. was playing with them.. imagine watching a little baby boy..running.. around chasing crows..and they playing with him.. this was quite a sight i'd remember.. it happened for a year.. till my nephew moved away from our home.. I love and respect these creatures.. :) hats off 10/10
It might get interesting to see crows bathing in poodles! Maybe they could try collies as well? ? Ho ho! Both you and your friend, lalitha lyer, write extremely 'curious' poems it seems, from what I have seen so far. Now to respond to the comment you left for me regarding my 'showcase' poem. bri :)
