Beautiful poem Heather. Journey is a crossing of many paths, sometimes with twists and turn, sharp curve a head to be careful, sometimes stop, some times slow down while sometimes keep running. This beautiful poem shows mastery of the poetess, how intelligently and skillfully she has used the traffic codes for various ethics and paths that are leading us to the final destination. Red light for the forbidden fruits, Yellow light for a moderate course and green for moving carefree to Him. I congratulate Heather Burns for writing this great poem. For me it's poem of the day.

Our solo journeys wind along many pathways, we have barriers at times through death and loss. Sometimes we slip and fall, yet we continue on our way, learning and using our knowledge and intellect so we can avoid the pitfalls in life's travels.

The journey of our life's path is serpentine and so much zigzag and with hindrance only. Very true.
