Stolen, dropped and broken
what was precious neglected
healing words ne'er spoken
too late to be corrected
Then I'd do anything to get her
I tore in her heart a hole
young I knew no better
'Twasn't love, but her inner being I stole
If you take a life, a life you give
But when you take a soul
Nothing will you forgive
and the devil takes his toll
