Your husband is a true lover of Nature.Very good.I am a village boy and I appreciate him.But if he marries the moon and stars, u would be disappointed and simultaneously many like me in PH would be utterly diaappointed.please refrain and don't allow.
Dear Rose, i really enjoyed reading this lovely poem of a countryman. There is a lot of humour and the last two lines are brilliant. When he came inside The house, I told him He can now marry The moon and stars above....... :) ....10
very very natural expression...this is what happens in real life....beautiful and very much amusing Rose
Very nice work. Im very related to this poem. So heart touching. Thank you.
It is a gorgeous poem on life and nature duly delineated. I cite........ He always peeks through the window Looking for feathered friends When he hears That chirp and tweet His green eyes become bright And sweet. Thanks for sharing.
One night he stayed outside For the longest time When he came inside The house, I told him He can now marry The moon and stars above. Enjoyed these lovely lines.
A lovely write. Your husband, a lover of nature, has the sensitivity necessary to appreciate what we all should.
I can relate to your husband being a country boy myself I love spending as much time outdoors as I can...Wonderful and funny poem...10+++
The last stanza laudably articulates your intense love for your better half! One thing I am sure, you are jealous of him because he is staring at the beauty of moon which is your support next area! Pleasure revisiting the poem! Stay always blessed!
I think your husband and I would get along just fine. I love the country also (including country singers like Garth Brooks and Johnny Cash) . I feed the birds and the squirrels and the chipmunks and have places to go where I watch the deer and the moose. I loved this poem and thought the way you ended it with that last verse was superb.
Thank you Kim for your great comment. Your visit is much appreciated. It is good to know you loved the country.
A fascinating poem! I wonder if it is real or imagination (? ?) …… Whatever may be the case, I enjoyed the poem! ! The fourth stanza impelled me to read it three four times! Appreciated! !
Thank you for the visit Dr.Dillip and great comment. Yes, it is real coupled with a tinge of imagination.
I loved your last line. But what's the cracked door all about? I gave four stars. bri ;)
