It's a lovely poem and mind you I'd like to stay in that cottage of yours by the lake. Oh! my pink tongue also would like to take a bite on that variety of foods you presented, pork, strawberries, etc. wow! Good idea, good work!

You have captured that slushy time between winter and spring in this fine poem about taking time off from the rat race. I particularly like your use of the expression 'raked over'.
