A Convent Of Goodbyes Poem by Jessel Jane Tevar Toring

A Convent Of Goodbyes

In a cloister of forgotten thoughts,
A convent of spectral verses,
An abyss where lines dissolve—
Free verses, once vivid, now unclaimed,
Longing only to be penned for you,
Only for you.

To this, I inscribe a word
Carved deep into the unseen altars
Of my soul:
Adieu. Adieu.
