The crocodile or alligator(if you suppose) Does Nature's work in quite repose As it addresses Darwin's (and others too) Survival of the fittest in their due. For those that live to find another pond across the sand After trudging long miles over barren land There to await the coming spring When with rainfall new life will again, begin. s **** In summer alligators begin their migration from pond to pond seeking out either means to survive, or perhaps to mate. Ugly beast that they be, but part of the chain of life.

Well I an spared this time. For my skeleton to lay in view the sea will have to dry up. So I will just continue my pirating, thank you very much. This is a great insightful poem and ends with a wry humor, which is not funny to the Croc I am sure.
