I have been trying to comment on this poem for a long while now, unfortunately, it was not working. Hope now, i am able to complete my comment. Akhtar Sahab, this is a forthright poem, which whether a compromise or not, brings the essence of love and life in its many shades. I like the way you have concluded it. May i quote: Helplessly, with ethics, I made a decent compromise Never mind, in love the ethics one may revise. Lovely! Top marks. Hope the button works. :)
