Hi Joseph, I can relate to this because my Dad was a veteran in the Canadian Army. He didn't speak a lot about it but he did speak to me about a friend who had died. The war left my father mentally ill. At the time they didn't have a support system for the vets. and this was really sad because my father paid the price. He fought for 7 years in the Korean war. Your poem was excellent and again you write with excellent imagery. You are a talented writer. Take care.

good poem, being in the army i had a good career, made life long friends, you learn so much about team and depending on each other, like nowherte else.
