A Cold November Night Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

I danced with you all day
lift you up,
let my feet move
and carried you away

I held you so tight
we danced and enjoyed
every moment
till the end of the night

With my arms tight around your waist
I whispered in your ears, I love you
and for sure I do, for I shall never let you go
because your presents, does make my heart glow

It was truly a night to never forget
we fell in each other's arms asleep
with the alarm set


The next morning
the Sun and the alarm woke me up
and when I opened my eyes,
I could only see
an empty and cold place next to me

Slowly my mind came to realize
that everything I had experienced
I had only felt
in a beautiful dream
in a cold and lonely november night
