First of all Marvin, let me tell you what a pleasure it is to read this eloquent and heartfelt tribute to the poets o f poemhunter and thankyou from the bottom of my heart for including me. I too love the interaction with everyone here and look forward to not only receiving comments but also the times that I sit and enjoy the many writings of so many gifted writers. It is also a place that continually helps me to develop more on a spiritual basis with the words of so many gifted poets, I recieve a positive energy from my new found friends and I thank God for Shelley who indirectly pointed me in the right direction with the aid of God I ended up on this particular site and this is where I'll stay. My relationships here have developed into true friendships and I'll treasure that for a lifetime. Thankyou Marvin for a most delightful tribute and now sir it is your turn, I will go and fill myself with your works of literary verse. --Melvina--

Beautiful tribute to our favorite site! Thanks for sharing it... and mentioning some of the 'legends' on here that we all know and love. I love the interaction we all share here! ! This site affords anyone wanting to improve the chance to do so if they make connections. I'm so glad I posted here almost 1 year ago (Oct.1st) , now I have poet friends from all over the world! ! Take care Marvin Lee

It is by encouuntering other poets that poets learn to see with anothers eyes for a little while become someone else. Poetry is universal even though they are written in many languages

Thus excites the aggregation By the poets as congregation Of hearts, minds and soul Share together one passion Your words sum up best what this is all about. Hope you include yourself in the aggregation and not consider your coming just a close encounter. In a way I see your point. There are so many good poets here and wondrous poems, a close encounter is the most we can hope for.

dear marvin, i am sure it will be a rare encounter, some of the third kind. keep going and sharing. poetry pins down the man and his environment and helps keep us sane.

It's really good to read one's name immortalized in the work of a popular poet like you. Above all, your poem is an inspiration to other poets whose works are being acknowledge.
