A Christmas Celebration Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

A Christmas Celebration

Rating: 5.0

Let the sunlight shine on Christmas morn
And yr heart can never torn
For Christ, the king is born
As it says in the gospels
Yes, the day is long
And the sun shouted you belong
As we be merry around the tree
Our tummies filled as can be
Come O' star shine on you and me
Until darkness of the night
Wake us up with the morning light
With a hangover's pain of might
Until day stops it's morning flight
And the New Year comes with joy

Yes what a blessed season Chrustmas is...the one day of the year that we're welcomed to enjoy true peace and joy and love as an expression of God's love for us...it sure brings families to a deep reflection of our relationships one with another...have a merry Christmas
