can never be freed from
his deep need for Christ.
No one can dismiss
the God-Man Christ from
his interior life on the pretext
that he has now entered
by higher contemplation
into direct communication
with the Word of God.
Christ is the focal
point for a christian contemplative
because Christ's power
lies not in force or law
but in love.
