Something is there to do the basic,
Nothing is there to think angelic,

Loved the poem. There is a child in every man.I must say there is motherly instinct in every girl.It is seen that very small girls love to play mother to elder boys.

Beautiful mam, .It speaks of your experience gained in life. Thanks for that valuable piece of advice said artistically.Especially In each and every man, there is a child, That long for the love of a mother, I just loved those lines. This is the advice of the time when girls have lost patience, might be on witnessing the elder women of their family being ill treated, and opt for divorce at the slightest provocation! Thanks for sharing mam. Please do read my poem Domestic Violence, for it conveys the same message.

Ha Ha, I love this poem! It is the truth of men for sure. I enjoyed the way you portrayed the child in men so aptly. It seems that if the man was not fully taught as a child the wife ends up finishing the job. This poem is unique and fun to read, it tickled my mind as I read it, because I enjoy the child within the men I know. Thank you for sharing this poem. RoseAnn

a good mother's role is in rearing every child as carefully as she can, something her male counterpart is not so adept in.

When I work, play, love, write I do not search for the child in the man, I search for the spirit which combines all. Good articulate write of child rearing and the important roles of parents who become their first and most infuencial guides.

If the women identify the child in testosterone-muscled boys and take good care of them, they will be useful handymen in the house like the kids in the aviary.. The nature of the children has a realistic description. If the women are funny with these handy tools, they will become truants and will have tantrums and be juvenile delinquents. The women should be a bit strict and funny. A psychological poem giving an idea of dealing with juvenile delinquency. Surely you would have been a responsible, caring mother in your home.

Thought provoking poem. Some people remain childish throughout their life. That is not what we want. Some people remain child-like throughout thier life. That is admirable. I try to keep consciously the dreams of my childhood alive. To many adolescents with great ideals get discouraged by adults calling them naive or childish. Ideals are not childish, not naive. If just more adolescents would keep their ideals, the world would be much better now.
