Even though I'm a pagan, this poem strongly reminds me of Jesus due to many alusions. It's wonderful really - dark and beautiful.

This is the first time I have read this beautiful poem, but I do find it a bit sad that such contemplation should be accompanied by death.

I love old poems, they have certain touches to them that make them just right and perfect. She was a great poet and if she were still alive today, she would have been worshiped. This is personally one of my favorites. R.I.P. Elizabeth Barrett Browning.
