I love playing Chess in reality. Thank you so much for sharing this meaningful poem. I am amazed how you created these words you have in your mind into an excellent poem. Please, celebrate only your success and never the failure, since life must go on forward, celebrate the failure, means you step backward, though for a minute, but you will hang in it. I surely have enjoyed very much this amazing poem, dear Geetha. Myriad of 10's

Life will move on fighting and defending, But many things get lost on its way. Protecting one, Moves forward or retreat backward. Sometimes forced or ready to attack. Though one never wanted to..... it is so. In this present society it is seen. Nice theme. It is beautiful poem with nice presentation. Thanks.

Did I win to loose everything or did I loose everything to win. These two lines of this amazing poem forced me to think who will be a winner in an atomic war? Or both will be losers!

Different perspectives of life we see around us, yet the life remains the same......Its our perspective that leads our way.......... Among those numerous views about life, this metaphorical write is a lovely gem Indeed life is a chess, but are we the masters of our fate, or just pawns in hands of others? ...........we seek the answer............ a well composed write dear

Each twist and turn comes in WITH surprises. It's just A calculations. Stalemate is also a result in Chess. With your analogy you can compare chess with a war, wrestling, tennis, badminton etc.... Lovely poem

Spare a thought for the simple pawn who having moved can never go back To kill, be killed or to flower as a queen His destiny if he reaches the last rank And each king may share a common fate Something we call a very stale mate (Good work - keep writing)

Somehow we have to make the moves. It is important that in your chess game played with life`s situations, we are all seen around close. I enjoyed reading your poem reaching out to the situations as rivals with might.

A Beautiful poem comparing life to a game of chess! Success depends on how well we make our move and to some extent our luck! Whether a sucess or a failure, if one can celebrate life, no doubt, it in itself will be a success. Your jubilant spirit predominates in all your poems! I don't know why I had problems in locating your page and sending comments! Geetha, thanks for your sweet comments

If the loss is for Dharma(for Truth and Justice) as Arjuna one can be proud of even after such a heavy loss or one can bereave as Gandhari, mother of Kauravas. Your poem is very good.I give 10/10
