The translation is so wonderful. I wonder how beautiful must be the original carnelian ring. The poem opens the poet's heart and shares the moments happy and otherwise.

I don’t know why I think I will be present among the galaxies Do not be annoyed that my legacy to you is only books And some poetry, and...a carnelian ring! Hope it is not a farewell song.....! But it evokes a surge of strong emotions..... each line is dipped in sorrow and dripping of blood. The identification of the poet with the birds that shelter a lot of sorrow under their wings speaks a lot about her mental state! The two valuable things the poet has to offer are her books of poems and a carnelian ring! A moving write!
