to lose this kind of feeling is, as you describe, lora, a come down. but then there is the love that gives even when it's not deserved, the kind of love implicit in a saying that was popular on bumper stickers some years back—practice random acts of kindness and senseless acts of beauty. -glen

1 - Rats! no typos etc. to complain about here (or in other two newest-submitted poems) . What joy, that night when my virginity took flight! We cavorted** and snorted all through the night. Your mouth sucked my flesh, leaving a 'passion bite', and dear Mom was aghast when she discovered the site. I was 22 years old, pretty old indeed for an American virgin. I might be one still if it hadn't been for your yearning urgin'. (cont.)
