Wonderful and passionate on dealings of war's aftermath Bravo!
I consider this an excellent introduction to a new to me poetic form.5*****
Thanks for you comments.Triolet is a stanza poem of 8 lines. Its rhyme scheme is ABaAabAB. The first, fourth and seventh lines are identicle, as are the second and final lines thus making the initial and final couplets identicle as well. I wrote it again in free verse but it wasn't as good.
Nice one. I generally like poems about war. But can you please brief on the purpose of last two lines(somewhere....so deep.) as the poem seems to me, to end by the line before the last but second line(now....weep.)
Excellent poem. Direct, to the point, critique of war.
