'' A Caring Compassionate Being '' Poem by Bri Mar

'' A Caring Compassionate Being ''

Is spite ever right,
Does it foster delight,
If so then it's time to take stock,
Keep this in sight,
You may well take fright,
The fallout may come as a shock.

What is your aim,
Revenge isn't a game,
It can and will become part of your life,
Searching for blame,
So, you can defame,
Believe me will only cause strife.

That minor tiff,
Becomes when not if,
As it spirals out of control,
Your resolve becomes stiff,
You're on the edge of a cliff,
On everyone it's taking its toll.

Guilty or not,
With danger it's fraught,
What it is you have to dismiss,
You become distraught,
Why? You've already forgot,
You're heading into the abyss.

As bad feelings disperse,
It makes everyone terse,
All you do now is rant and rave,
The effects are adverse,
As in war you immerse,
You're heading for an early grave.

As it evolves,
Around life it revolves,
It takes over your entire being,
The one who absolves,
Is the one who devolves,
Into,
