This poem is a sad reminder of life that was once lived fully and has become reduced to a being depending on another for care. A heart rending depiction of what it's like to be a care taker, and yet it is a blessing to be taken care of. Very poignant poem, Thank you for sharing it. RoseAnn

Hello, Roseann! Firstly, thank you very much for your very kind remarks and high rating! I recently had the opportunity to submit the work to other sites and was also met with positive comments like '...honest words/feelings beautifully expressed', 'It’s like you have been looking at my life for the last 6 yrs. and put it into words….words that I could never come up with.', 'Wow. That was a truly powerful poem. Thank you for sharing it.' and by their response, humbled. This writing has indeed proved the most gratifying in terms of reader response. Thank you again, Roseann, for your most high rating. Take care!
