O how dreadful it must be to have to listen to these people Shaun! I think you have perfectly encapusulated the feelings associated with listening to boring speakers and I thought the government briefings were bad. Anyway it's a tiresome, tedious ten from me!

The second line of the fourth stanza has been now been amended and should read... Downloads chapter and verse. Sorry about that.

This insightful poem resonates with me. It is a waste of time and resources if the audience will lost their interest to listen because of the incapacity of the speaker to reach her audience. Another brilliant write, Shaun that serves as a wake up call to speakers.

A fascinating poem that must be read by speakers or who are engaged to talk before a large audience or a small crowd.. A speaker must be able to get the attention of his/ her audience otherwise it will just be a futile exercise to be talking and talking without assimilation.
