There are fates worse then death, such as having Stephan Harper as Prime Minister for close to a decade. The Canadian spirit is one of passive aggressiveness mixed with indifference, as for being a gullible reader, I need no safe romantic notions to keep me pacified. Your magic is realism, and I dig it.
