You can hear from distance very gently...I grew up by the lake and that line evokes great memories...That's the beauty of poetry, that everyone might find different ideas from just one piece. Thanks for sharing.

Men may come and men may go.. but i go on forever.. remember these lines? make this poem more philosophical. there is much to reflect on the flow of the river and flow of human life and society.. thank u for sharing.

There is some wisdom and some nice lines in this piece but it is much too long. It needs to be cut down a bit and the author needs to focus on some aspect of the river.
