A Bus Ride Through Life Poem by Doris Cornago

A Bus Ride Through Life

Rating: 5.0

We are commuters through life
Strangers sharing a bus ride
Pay your fare take a seat
Talk if you must, or
Just be quiet
Watch the
View
Outside
Trip gets bumpy
Someone complains
Let him get off at the stop
Don't be a bully, or be too needy
Be cordial, not too friendly, just steady

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The best attitude to take when going through life is to take everything as part of the journey, that those who share the ride with you are as clueless and hopeless to what happens to anyone in that bus ride. An unwritten code is to make the ride as pleasant as you can for everyone so all can reach their destination.

I wrote this poem in my journal to keep it as I normally do but with other poems. Thanks

We must know the road signs if we want to share the ride on the same road. If not, let's be polite, alight and take another ride. Let me just tell you, life is a discovery. No matter with whom, there are no warranties.
