A Broken Window Poem by Kenneth Maswabi

A Broken Window

Rating: 5.0

A broken window
In this pocket of reality
A broken window represent a lost soul
Total darkness that envelopes an entity that has strayed into the abyss of the unknown
A broken window is a depiction of loss of form and character
A deformity that is not quantifiable
Loss that defies logic in its magnitude
A broken window is a state of hopelessness
A barrenness of being, a dilapidation of the mind
A phantom that roams the outer aspects of existence
A broken window is a loss of meaning to the things held dear to the owner
The turbulent and eruption of reality into pieces of disorder and turmoil
A broken window is a stinking rotten cascade of possibilities
A punctured womb of life completely filled with the substance of death
A loss of hope
A scattering of the body, mind and soul
A complete decomposition of the substance of being
Let us be aware of the darkness of evil
Lest we are tempted to follow in its footsteps
