There are things that can be mended and others are beyond repair. A broken doll can be repaired but it cannot be restored to its original beauty. There will always be spots that will give way to the damage. A wonderful poem beautifully crafted. Very touching write with an important message.

Shall I succeed in joining the pieces, ..............at the end of the poem i understood what this line meant, more or less. you would connect the pieces. at first i thought you wondered if you too should be broken......by yourself or another. (Being misbehaved by my sweetest child) ...............this i still do not understand. hmm? i find this poem to be (for me) bizarre, but entertaining and well-written. i suppose it is symbolic of something and you did not really have a 'doll' in your heart! bri :) to MyPoemList
