Across the bright, cold, winter air
of budding trees and birds that sing;
a field of meadow flowers fair

A beautiful poem with a nice flow. It gives a soothing feeling when spring is around. 'The vision faded, I looked around and saw the boughs all decked in snow, a blanket of white upon the ground, a single bird the only sound. And then the breeze blew soft and clean bringing forth a breath of spring. ' is a beautiful stanza. Thanks.

A fairy land it seemed to me, and longing then I was for spring when robins sing in every tree; having their blithe and cheery fling, a very nice poem describing the beauty of spiring.. thank u dear poetess. tony

It has no credibility as a poetry site. Soon all will leave.

Either you're a follower of Donald J. Drumpf and believe that when you say something is so that that makes it so. Or you like eating crow.

He made an unsupported statement and would appear to want to let it stand as an indisputable fact. The act of an orange man.

What do you see a sea of Indians favoured over others with talent. Top 500 poets and poems plus POD. All arbitrary, no guidelines. Allowing trolls to flourish. I ask you what do we think about that? Chasing marks in a Treasure Island Wonderland, getting pathetic comments. This site has no credibility.

Correct on almost all points. I wouldn't agree that trolls flourish, but you're proof enough that they are here. And as far as stating, °Soon all will leave.° Just ain't gonna happen.

The internet is everything for everyone. And always growing. Unlike Drumpf, the art of the deal and his loyal base. Lots of people don't give a cool stool about credibility.

Art and politics have always been bedmates and always will be. Don't let it bother you. Or do let it. And write your way out of your discomfort. Art and poetry are just mirrors for the innumerable ways humans are human. That means poetry, like the internet, is for everyone. No matter how elitist or how common or flawed. Turn your irritants into pearls.
