What a lovely, happy, private moment poem. I liked the line: Upon its wings is painted days of sapphires. Read mine – Blue Bird – Adeline

Beautiful, vivid, varying imagery! Wonderfully done. The incredible sights and feelings that come with an innocent, enchanting blue jay.

Pretty. In spirit, it reminds me of the purpose behind a Japanese haiku - to capture a moment in time and exalt it. You've done this with your lovely poem, and I'll be reminded of your poem next time I spy a blue jay.

The character needs to remove the window, or get outside, or have someone help her/him get outside. As beautiful as the bird is, it is separated from the viewer. Obviously the bird doesn't understand why, on such a lovely day, one would be inside.

When I read this poem it was like a little girl that wasn't me was reading it to me :) it just feels so soft in depth and texture, and so deep in meaning. Great job :)

Your visions of the Blue Jay are very colorful and vivid against the background of the rhododendron.

A delicately, sweet look at the beauties of our nature. So deserving of being poem of the day, or any day. Joe

The Blue Jay flutters through the lines of your poem. You captured the moment beautifully, if not the bird.10.
