A Blooming Pink Lotus, A Bud Hanging By

The pink lotus
So beautifully blooming,
The bud flowering into
The pink lotus
So soft and charming,
Light and lovely tolook at.

How serene, sedate,
Tranquil, quiet,
Joy-giving, cheer-endowing
Is it to see it hanging by,
A pink lotus bud about to bloom
And flower!
