A Blessing To My World Poem by Falana Zion

A Blessing To My World

Rating: 1.0

My mother taught me umpteen lessons,
Lesson I never wish I forget....
She's a blessing to my world
She's the shining stars in my sky
The glaring moon in my night
The hopeful brow in the hopeless time

She's the gaze under the sun
A plant without a thorn
The hope of an hopeless world
The beat of a silent gong.

As the stars are far above
As the stars in the night
So are my feelings for her
I'd never stop dreaming,
of making her proud.
